Nino Gvetadze is committed to advancing disability rights and inclusion in humanitarian and development contexts. With over 15 years of experience across Africa, South Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, and the Middle East, she specializes in integrating disability inclusion into disaster risk reduction, resilience-building, and emergency response efforts. Her work focuses on amplifying the voices of marginalized groups, particularly persons with disabilities, through intersectional and rights-based approaches.

Nino’s expertise includes developing tools, technical guidance, and training packages to operationalize global frameworks such as the IASC Guidelines on Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities in Humanitarian Action and the UN Disability Inclusion Strategy. She has worked on complex crises, including the Rohingya refugee crisis and Cyclone Idai response, collaborating with UN agencies, INGOs, and local organizations to ensure inclusive programming.
